Animal welfare is ANIM-Alpaga’s central priority. The Alliance works with public bodies to build the sector around three responsibilities: regard for animal welfare, the economic viability of those in the sector, and meeting society’s legitimate expectations.
Our aims
- Encourage alpaca breeding and investment projects in rural areas
- Build a structured economic sector around the alpaca, part of the farming of tomorrow
- Take part in managing animal-health risks
- Promote fibre processing and the creation of high-value French products, fairly paid
- Reimagine the farm of tomorrow through sustainable, eco-responsible activities: agri-tourism, educational farms, animal-assisted activities

Carry the voice of alpaca professionals to French and European institutions.

Support the professionalisation of the alpaca trades: breeding, shearing, fibre processing and selling.
Train
Offer training: care, feeding, reproduction, fibre processing, direct sales and project support.
